All in a day!

I woke up late,
I lost my shoe,
I fell on the stairs,
All in a day.

I missed the bus,
I lost my wallet,
I had no money to pay,
All in a day.

I walked to skool,
I entered the classroom,
Getting punished causing dismay,
All in a day.

I attended boring lectures,
Ate tomatoes for lunch,
Even after skool I was made to stay,
All in a day.

I reached home late,
I saw my friend wait,
I went to play,
All in a day.

I had a bruised knee,
I went to the doctor,
Had ice cream on my way,
All in a day.

My boy friend called me up,
My mother heard me speak,
She asked me to keep away,
All in a day.

I kept thinking,
I kept dreaming,
When on my bed I lay,
After everything that happened, all in a day.
